A Door Within A Door | Original Acrylic Painting

A Door Within A Door began as an intuitive exploration of texture, layers, and subtle color. After sharing the finished painting, people saw entirely different things within it: a doorway, a rabbit, a curled figure, a hidden passage.

What fascinated me was not finding the "correct" interpretation, but discovering how many stories could exist within the same image.

Created with acrylic paint and finished with a cold wax surface, this piece invites quiet observation and rewards a slower look. Like many abstract works, it changes depending on who is viewing it and what they bring with them.
