Expanse | Original Acrylic Painting

Sometimes the most meaningful discoveries are the ones we never planned.

Expanse began as a simple experiment to test the effects of a paint-filled balloon bursting several meters above a blank canvas. What emerged was an unexpected composition of energetic splashes, delicate mist, and sweeping movement radiating across the entire surface.

Unlike many of my paintings, which evolve through countless layers of questioning and revision, this one felt complete from the moment it dried. It became a reminder that experimentation isn't only about discovering new techniques, it can also reveal something worth preserving exactly as it is.
