Feather Falls | Original Acrylic Painting

Some paintings reveal themselves slowly.

As layers of color flowed and settled across the canvas, I created delicate feather-like forms to balance the movement. What started as an abstract exploration gradually transformed into something organic and alive, with soft teal, violet and light pink plumes rising through a landscape of flowing color.

The contrast between the airy feather shapes and the energetic background creates a sense of both motion and stillness. 

Feather Falls became a reminder that creativity is often a collaboration between intention and discovery. Some of my most rewarding moments in the studio come from allowing an idea to evolve into something more than I originally imagined.
