Tree Under the Northern Lights | Original Acrylic Painting

This piece began as an exploration of the tree swipe technique, guided by curiosity and a willingness to see what might emerge.

Layers of deep blues, violets, and soft copper tones move across the surface. Somewhere along the way, a tree took shape, its branches stretching through shifting color like light moving through the night sky.

The name came from my son, who saw it immediately. It felt exactly right.

This is an original, one-of-a-kind acrylic painting on a 30 cm round canvas.
